The members of the group represent leading trade, educational, scientific and medical publishers, not-for-profit and educational organizations, authors, composers, songwriters, artists and other creators and users of intellectual property. The members of the group also represent companies who develop and license (both as licensors and licensees) sophisticated software and internet-related products. They are also active in counseling and litigation in music publishing, theater and all other areas of entertainment law.

Their expertise extends to all aspects of publishing, software development, literary property, First Amendment, privacy, publicity, copyright, trademark and trade secret law. They are deeply involved in the protection and licensing of intellectual property, particularly copyrights and trademarks, and its use and dissemination in all forms and media, including database publishing and the Internet, and related antitrust and trade regulation counseling and litigation.
