David Blasband Recognized for Delivering Exceptional Client Services

New York, NY, February 14, 2006 – David Blasband, Co-Chair of McLaughlin & Stern’s Intellectual Property Department, has been named to the 2006 BTI Client Service All-Star Team. The honor followed a survey of Fortune 1000 companies, resulting in the recognition of Mr. Blasband and 133 of other attorneys from major law firms throughout the country for delivering “truly superior client service”.

Mr. Blasband’s practice deals primarily with sophisticated intellectual property litigation and counseling of individuals and the media. His career, spanning four decades, establishes him as a most respected advisor to major media companies and iconic figures in the arts and entertainment. Among his notable clients for whom he has successfully litigated are Peggy Lee, Tony Randall, Tom Wolfe, Lyle Stuart, and Liz Smith. Mr. Blasband is a graduate of Cornell and the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
