Sander Lehrer Joins McLaughlin & Stern as Counsel
New York, NY, February 21, 2017 – McLaughlin & Stern, LLP, announced today that Sander Lehrer has joined the Firm in its New York and Long Island offices effective February 1, 2017.
Mr. Lehrer adds to the depth of the Firm’s existing practices in the areas of real estate development, real property acquisitions and dispositions, commercial leasing, real estate finance, construction law and representation of cultural and other tax-exempt organizations. He has a long history of client representation in these areas, including advising on transfers of development or air rights and land use regulations generally in New York City. His broad experience includes serving at the New York City Department of Housing, Preservation and Development, first as general counsel and then as Housing Commissioner, at a time when New York City came through a state-wide financial crisis associated with New York City and State debt.
