Michael Bello is an associate at McLaughin & Stern’s litigation department practicing out of the Garden City office. He represents clients of the firm’s Commercial Litigation, Employment Law, and Municipal Law practices.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Bello was Assistant District Attorney in the Queens County District Attorney’s Office. He was a member of their Felony Trial I Bureau where he prosecuted a caseload of violent felonies through all stages of criminal litigation. These stages included numerous grand jury investigations, pre-trial hearings, and multiple jury trials. Mr. Bello was promoted to the Violent Criminal Enterprises Bureau where he conducted long-term investigations and the prosecution of numerous cases involving firearms trafficking, ghost gun manufacturing, and gang motivated violence.

Mr. Bello received his Juris Doctorate from Touro Law School in 2016. While in law school he was a member of the Touro Law Review and took part in the school’s trial advocacy program.
