Laurie D. Nelson is a member of the Firm’s Trusts & Estates Department in the West Palm Beach office.  Ms. Nelson focuses her practice in estate planning, trust and estate administration, probate, and real estate, and she has extensive experience in developing estate plans and administering complex estates and trusts. Ms. Nelson graduated from the University of Akron School of Law and received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from The Ohio State University.

Ms. Nelson is a member of the Florida Bar and the Real Property, Probate & Trust Law Section of the Florida Bar.  Prior to joining McLaughlin & Stern, she was an attorney with Gunster, Yoakley & Stewart, P.A. for over two decades and also practiced at several boutique trusts and estates firms in Palm Beach County.

Although she was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, Ms. Nelson has called South Florida home for many years.  She is married with two children and lives in Palm Beach.
