Protection from Violence

John represents several well-known national retailers and shopping centers, who often face very difficult and recurring problems including theft and organized retail crime, violence, and trespass.  93% of California retail employees report “fear of violence at work” (either from co-workers or third-party trespassers, shoplifters, homeless, etc.) as their primary concern.  This is atrocious.  John uses highly effective “workplace violence” and “anti-trespass” restraining orders to get the job done. State courts issue these orders within one court day of application where the offender has threatened or been violent, stalked an employee or contractor, or has otherwise disrupted business. Once served, almost all restrained persons obey these orders voluntarily, as is explained in this article. https://losspreventionmedia.com/california-retail-restraining-order/  Those who don’t usually get arrested and prosecuted.  John has obtained over 600 emergency restraining orders for these and other clients to protect employees and business premises.

The goal is to make client workplaces safer immediately. Each case is urgent and we work 24×7 to file at the earliest possible time after an incident. We also work closely with law enforcement agencies to get orders enforced under the contempt of court laws in those unusual cases when the restrained person violates the order.
