Barry Singer received degrees of Bachelor of Arts from New York University in 1964, Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School in 1968 and Master of Law (in Taxation) from New York University School of Law in 1972. He is admitted to practice law in New York and before the United States Tax Court.

Prior to joining McLaughlin & Stern, LLP, Mr. Singer was, for 30 years, the President and sole shareholder of the firm Weinberger Singer P.C., a boutique law firm providing personalized service to its clients and specializing in estate planning and estate administration. Before establishing that firm, Mr. Singer joined the firm of Fink Weinberger, becoming a partner and then the head of the firm’s Trust and Estate Department for 10 years.

Mr. Singer has extensive experience in the practice of trusts and estates, including participation in audits by the Internal Revenue Service of federal estate tax returns and in appeals of audits to the Internal Revenue Service Office of Appeals.
