Anne advises clients on estate planning and trust and estate administration, with particular emphasis on achieving the client’s specific goals in the most tax-efficient manner. She brings a keen sensitivity to the client’s personal concerns and understands that an effective estate plan not only minimizes taxes and provides asset protection, but also promotes family harmony.

Anne represents high net worth individuals in Connecticut and New York, blending her years of sophisticated tax training and her lifelong interest in psychology to craft estate plans that serve the complex personal, financial and legal needs of her clients. She strives to become a trusted family advisor.

Anne prepares Wills and trusts of all kinds and advises clients on effective gifting strategies to minimize exposure to estate and gift taxes. She guides her clients on charitable giving techniques and business succession planning, as well as on the selection of guardians for minor children, executors and trustees.

Anne also works closely with individual and institutional executors and trustees in the administration of estates and trusts, including probate court proceedings, preparation of federal and state death tax returns, responding to tax audits, post-mortem tax planning and the final disposition of estates and trusts.

Prior to joining McLaughlin & Stern, Anne was a partner Berkowitz, Trager & Trager LLP.
