Mr. Scappaticci focuses his practice on complex commercial disputes and property insurance subrogation. For the first five years of his career, Mr. Scappaticci was an Associate at Canter Law Firm P.C., a boutique law firm with a national practice concentrating on the prosecution of property insurance subrogation actions on behalf of domestic and foreign insurance carriers as well as complex commercial litigation. While at Canter Law Firm P.C., Mr. Scappaticci handled wide range of complex commercial litigation, construction defect claims, business disputes, declaratory actions involving property and liability insurance coverage and the enforcement of tenders primarily in the construction industry.

Following his association at Canter Law Firm P.C., Mr. Scappaticci worked at a large New York based defense firm where he concentrated on defense of product manufacturers in claims throughout the United States. Mr. Scappaticci’s range of experience and legal knowledge provides him the ability to offer tailored litigation action plans to maximize client recoveries and offer cost-effective and innovative solutions to suit each client’s needs.

Mr. Scappaticci received his Juris Doctorate, Magna Cum Laude, from St. John’s University School of Law where he was ranked in the top five percent of his class, and was a member of the school’s American Bankruptcy Institute Law Review. Mr. Scappaticci received his Bachelor of Arts, Magna Cum Laude, from Fairfield University where he was a four year member of the school’s Varsity Swim Team, and served as Co-Captain his senior year. Mr. Scappaticci also represented the United States of America at the 2017 Age Group Standard Distance Triathlon World Championship.
