
Walter H. Lion is a graduate of Stanford Law School (J.D. 1979) and Syracuse University, where he graduated summa cum laude in 1976. He has spent over 20 years counseling clients in transactions and litigation involving corporate law and financial, maritime and regulatory matters.
Mr. Lion advises international corporations on the application of United States laws and regulations to their operations in the United States. He has extensive experience assisting clients on administrative and other issues involved in international transactions, including a wide variety of contracts, financings, leases, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions.
Mr. Lion is a member of leading bar associations and their sections and committees, including the American Bar Association, the International Bar Association, the Federal Bar Council, the Maritime Law Association and the Maritime Administrative Bar Association. Mr. Lion has received the highest rating of "AV" from Martindale-Hubbell. Mr. Lion is admitted to practice in both the State of New York and the District of Columbia. He lives in Boonton Township, New Jersey, and is married with three children.
