The firm's Bankruptcy, Reorganization and Restructuring practice is led by Paul H. Silverman, who is the New York State Bar Association, Business Section Chair and was its Bankruptcy Committee chair. Mr. Silverman was an assistant U.S. Attorney in the Southern District of New York. The firm has experience in all areas of creditors' rights and debtor's protection, both out-of-court enforcement and restructuring as well as bankruptcy court litigation, asset acquisition, forensic investigations and claims trading counseling. In addition, Mr. Silverman has international experience representing non-U.S.A. Receivers from Germany, Argentina and Korea as well as guest lecturer for the European Commission staff in Brussels and Goethe University graduate program in Frankfurt.
