Huyler C. Held graduated with the Princeton Class of 1947 and received his LL.B. in 1951 from Columbia Law School. Mr. Held, formerly a partner at Bryan Cave LLP and Turk, Marsh, Kelly & Hoare in New York City before coming to McLaughlin & Stern in 1998, specializes in the area of trusts and estates and related federal and New York State tax questions.

His areas of concentration include estate and trust planning and administration, estate and gift taxes, charitable corporations and foundations. He serves as counsel to various not-for-profit corporations and is trustee of several charitable foundations as well as a board member of a number of charitable organizations.
