Mr. Solomon concentrates his practice in securities arbitration; securities litigation, hedge fund litigation/counseling, general civil litigation, trust & estate litigation and financial markets’ transactional matters. Prior to becoming a Partner of McLaughlin & Stern, Mr. Solomon was associated with Greenberg Traurig, resident in that firm’s West Palm Beach offices, where his focus was managing and trying as lead counsel, a multitude of securities arbitration matters before the FINRA and the NYSE. He also litigated other securities matters.

Prior to that, Mr. Solomon was associated with two prominent Chicago-based law firms working on financial market litigation participating in a number of trials and arbitrations for various financial market clientele. He also was involved financial market transaction matters, including drafting proposed rules changes to be submitted to the SEC on behalf of major stock and options clients and preparing hedge fund offering materials and litigating.

Mr. Solomon traded foreign currency and stock index futures on the floor of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange after receiving his MBA, and before receiving high honors in law school. Mr. Solomon is admitted to practice law in New York, Florida and Illinois.
