Stephen G. Limmer for more than forty-five years has concentrated in municipal and real property law. He serves as General Counsel to the Village of Kings Point and its board of appeals, planning board, and architectural review board, as general counsel to the Water Authority  of Great Neck North, and to a Length of Service Awards program for a fire company. He has served as general counsel to the Villages of Great Neck, Port Washington North, and Roslyn Estates, and as special zoning counsel to the County of Nassau, the Town of North Hempstead, and the Village of Massapequa Park. He also serves as special counsel to real estate developers and other for-profit and not-for profit firms and organizations with regard to their real property acquisitions and development. His municipal and real property work includes contracting, leasing, litigation, and appeals. Mr. Limmer also assists clients in their estate planning.

Mr. Limmer was graduated from Hofstra University in 1967 and received his juris doctorate degree from St. John’s University in 1971. From 1971 through 1973, he served as a confidential law clerk to the New York State Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Fourth Department in Rochester, New York. He is a member of the New York State Municipal Law Committee and has lectured on zoning.

Mr. Limmer was active with Temple Beth-El of Great Neck for more than 40 years and served as President from 1987 through 1991. Among his other activities, he was a co-founder of AMJID (American Muslims and Jews in Dialogue) and is a balletomane and patron of the American Ballet Theatre.
