Biography

Charles B. Baron earned a B.A. degree magna cum laude in international relations from the University of Pennsylvania in 1981, an LL.B. degree from the Bar-Ilan Law School of Ramat Gan, Israel in 1986 and an LL.M. degree summa cum laude from Touro Law School in 1997. He is admitted to practice in New York, the United States District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, the United States Tax Court, the United States Supreme Court and the State of Israel.

Mr. Baron's practice includes business succession planning, trust and estates planning, valuation analysis, charitable planning and elder law.

Mr. Baron has twice qualified as an expert in the law of New York Private Trusts and has published  "Self-Dealing Trustees and the Exoneration Clause: Can Trustees Ever Profit from Transactions with Trust Property, 72 St. John's L.Rev. 43(1998) and "The International Legal Status of Jerusalem," 8 Touro International L. Rev. 1 (1998).

While practicing law in Israel, Mr. Baron participated in Israel's second Nazi War Crimes Trial, State of Israel v. John Demjanjuk. Mr. Baron is fluent in the Hebrew language.
