Mr. Cui's practice primarily focuses on corporate and securities laws, including representing companies in different industries for public offerings and private placement in the U.S., as well as advising public companies on legal compliance issues under U.S. securities laws and regulations. Prior to joining Mclaughlin & Stern, Mr. Cui had work experience at the Shanghai office of a U.S. law firm, the New York enforcement division of FINRA and the legal department of a NYSE listed corporation, where he gained comprehensive legal and business knowledge and experience of capital markets in both U.S. and China.
Mr. Cui obtained an LL.B. degree from Nanjing University of Finance and Economics in 2006 and his LL.M. degree with high honors from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2007. He was admitted to practice law in the State of New York in 2009 and is pending qualification to practice law in China. Mr. Cui received his J.D. degree, cum laude, from Fordham University School of Law. Mr. Cui is a native Mandarin speaker and fluent in English.
